The entry is free and online only
No purchase is required. Entry must be made through the official Age UK Trading prize-draw page; the terms state that postal entries are not accepted.
The form may ask about insurance renewal dates, but completing that section is not a condition of entry. Mandatory fields and a valid email address still need to be supplied.
Who can enter
The draw is open to UK residents who are over 18. Employees and direct family members of employees of AgeCo Limited, Age UK, and people involved in organising or running the draw are excluded.
Only one entry is accepted per person. Duplicate, incomplete, altered or rule-breaking submissions can be disqualified.
A single £500 cash prize
One verified winner receives £500 cash. The prize is not transferable, and the terms do not offer an alternative award or interest on the amount.
The draw uses an online random number generator after the closing time, drawing only from proper entries received by August 5 at 11:59 p.m.
How the winner is contacted
The promoter will make reasonable efforts to reach the selected person using the details supplied. A current email address is therefore important, even if the form also collects other contact information.
The winner has up to 30 days to claim. If the prize remains unclaimed by September 9, the promoter may choose an alternative winner.
What to check before submitting
- Confirm that the page is the official Age UK Trading domain.
- Complete every mandatory field accurately.
- Leave optional renewal-date fields blank if you do not wish to provide them.
- Submit only once and keep the confirmation.
Entries affected by a technical failure are not guaranteed to be received, so avoid waiting until the final minutes.
The claim deadline is separate from the closing date
August 5 is the deadline for submitting an entry, not the date by which the £500 must be claimed. After the random selection, the promoter uses the details supplied on the form to contact the potential winner.
The selected person then has up to 30 days to respond and complete the claim. If the prize remains unclaimed by September 9, the terms allow an alternative winner to be selected. Using a monitored email address and keeping the entry confirmation therefore matters after the form has closed.
