The direct message is part of the entry, not a later claim step

Following Chiquita and posting the hashtag starts the process. The account then sends instructions that include accepting the rules and confirming the entrant’s country of residence.

Those steps must be completed within twenty-four hours of the first direct message. A person who comments but ignores the message has not created a valid entry.

One early comment is safer than repeated attempts

The rules allow one entry per person for the entire promotion. Additional attempts, including attempts from another Instagram account, can be disqualified rather than treated as extra chances.

Only the initial comment is considered. Editing it does not create a replacement, and deleting it or unfollowing Chiquita before verification can prevent a potential win from being confirmed.

The prizes are awarded through winning times

The 500 available keychains are connected with randomly selected winning times and the order in which completed entries are received. The number remaining can therefore decline during the campaign.

Each winner can receive only one keychain. The published total maximum retail value is USD/CAD $3,500, although the collectible appeal may be more important to fans than the stated $7 unit value.

Canada has an important territorial exclusion

Residents of Quebec cannot enter. Other Canadian entrants must meet the age of majority that applies in their province or territory; the minimum is not automatically eighteen everywhere.

The same local-age rule applies in certain U.S. states, including the higher published threshold for Mississippi.

• Make sure the profile is public before commenting.
• Keep access to direct messages and the mailing address needed if selected.

Complete the full message flow

1. Open the June 22 Chiquita promotional post in the Instagram app.
2. Follow @chiquitabanana and comment #MyChiquiboo on that post.
3. Read and complete every direct-message step, including the country-of-residence question, within twenty-four hours.
4. Leave the comment in place and continue following the account until winners have been verified.

Rules that can invalidate the entry

• A comment by itself is not a completed entry; the direct-message flow is mandatory.
• Only one entry per person is permitted, including across alternate Instagram accounts.
• The first submitted comment is the one considered; editing or deleting it can affect validation.
