Two finalist pools lead to two motorcycles
The administrator plans to select ten DBC Garage member finalists and ten general DBC finalists. A separate potential winner is then drawn from each group.
The member winner chooses either the KTM 500 EXCF or KTM 300 XC. The general winner receives the remaining motorcycle. The published approximate retail value is $13,000 per bike.
A free postcard route is available
No purchase is required. General mail-in entries are made with individually handwritten 4-by-6-inch postcards sent to the address in the rules. Each accepted general postcard is credited with 200 entries, subject to a maximum of ten postcards.
A separate member postcard route exists for the membership finalist pool. Postcards must be postmarked during the promotion and received by September 7.
Entry totals have an overall ceiling
Purchases, affiliate activity, membership entries, announced bonus periods and postcards can award different numbers of entries. Regardless of method, the overall limit is 2,000 entries per person, phone number and email address.
Cancelled, returned, declined or fraudulent transactions do not qualify. Sending postcards beyond a stated limit can lead to disqualification rather than extra entries.
The live call is part of winner selection
The grand-prize event is currently scheduled for September 21. A potential winner must answer the sponsor’s call and correctly answer at least two of three objective questions.
If the call is missed, the rules allow a 48-hour callback window after the sponsor leaves a message. Missing that deadline or failing the question step can result in an alternate being selected.
Costs that are not included with the bike
A verified winner must have a valid driver’s licence and insurance at delivery. Taxes, title, registration, permits, insurance, transportation and other operating costs are not included.
The motorcycles are awarded as is, subject to any manufacturer warranty. They cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash by the winner.
What follows the live finalist call
Reaching the finalist stage does not automatically transfer a motorcycle. The selected person must complete the live question process and then satisfy the eligibility and documentation checks described in the rules.
The winner is also responsible for costs not expressly included with the bike, such as taxes, registration, licensing, transport or other ownership expenses. Review those obligations before entering so the value of the prize is not confused with the total cost of taking possession.
