Who the scholarship can support
An entrant may be an eligible student or a parent or legal guardian entering on behalf of an eligible student. The student must satisfy the education requirements in the official rules and be able to attend an eligible institution.
A parent entry does not turn the prize into household cash. The student and institution still have to satisfy the scholarship conditions.
One registration and one bonus entry
The online form provides the main entry. After submission, an optional survey can add one bonus entry. Equivalent postal routes are available for both opportunities.
The cap applies to the entire promotion: one main entry and one bonus entry, regardless of method. Creating additional accounts or identities can void all submissions.
How the monthly periods work
The campaign contains twelve monthly entry periods ending from September 2025 through August 2026. One $5,000 award is assigned to each period.
Valid non-winning entries carry forward into later drawings. A person who entered earlier therefore remains eligible in subsequent periods without submitting another main registration.
Payment goes to the institution
The award is a $5,000 check payable to the eligible college or university named in the winner documentation. It is not a prepaid card or a personal cash transfer.
The student must attend an eligible institution at least half time within one year of confirmation. Failure to enroll within that period results in forfeiture.
Email notice and ten-day response
Potential winners are contacted by email around the date listed for the relevant monthly period. The declaration, liability/publicity release where applicable and IRS Form W-9 must reach the administrator within ten days.
The administrator can choose an alternate if the candidate cannot be contacted, does not provide the documents or cannot identify an eligible institution.
Before submitting the form
- Confirm which student will use the scholarship.
- Use one stable email address for the full promotion.
- Do not submit a second main registration in another month.
- Complete the survey only if you want the single bonus entry.
- Monitor email around each monthly notification date.
