Who can enter the customer draw
The competition is restricted to existing Electric Ireland customers in the Republic of Ireland who are at least 18 years old. It is not a public sign-up draw for people who do not already hold an eligible customer account.
Employees of ESB are excluded. The account used to enter should belong to the customer, because the promotion limits participation to one submission from one account and the contact details connected to that account are used for notification.
Entry through the online account
The customer logs in, opens the competition banner, selects the correct answer on the competition page and submits the form. There is no separate receipt upload or purchase requirement described for Competition 33.
The page may offer consent to receive marketing communications, but that choice is optional and is not a condition of entry. Declining marketing does not remove the competition submission or reduce the stated chance of winning.
The €500 Aer Lingus voucher prize
One winner receives Aer Lingus vouchers worth €500. Depending on the format supplied by the prize provider, the vouchers are delivered by post or electronically.
The award must be accepted as offered and cannot be replaced with cash. Before planning a journey, the winner should review the airline’s own voucher conditions, including any booking, route, validity or balance restrictions that apply after delivery.
Notification and the five-day deadline
Electric Ireland contacts the selected customer by phone or email. The rules do not promise repeated attempts, so the details stored on the account should be current and messages around the end of the competition should be checked promptly.
If the promoter cannot reach the winner or the prize remains unclaimed for five days, the entitlement lapses and may be offered to a substitute winner. That response window is much shorter than the validity of the entry period itself.
Before pressing submit
Confirm that the competition shown in the account is Competition 33 for Aer Lingus and that the answer has been selected before submission. Only one entry is accepted from an account, so an accidental or incomplete response may not be replaceable with another attempt.
The competition closes on July 14. Keep a screenshot or confirmation if the account provides one, but rely on the Electric Ireland system as the official record and monitor both the phone number and email registered to the account.
Official rules and source
Read the official source before entering, especially near the deadline or if the sponsor publishes an amendment.
