Entry checklist

• Be 18 or older, legally resident in the United States or a U.S. territory, and a Farm Bureau member at entry.
• Submit one completed form with one photograph.
• Provide a signed release for every person shown in the image.

How to enter

1. Choose one photograph that fits the Farm 250 contest criteria.
2. Complete the entry form and collect a release from each identifiable person in the photo.
3. Submit the complete package before September 9 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Membership is an essential eligibility condition

The contest is open to adults who are legal residents of the United States or a U.S. territory and are Farm Bureau members when they enter. Residence and age alone are not sufficient.

Employees and certain people connected with the sponsor are excluded, while the rules specifically permit people serving on state Farm Bureau boards and their immediate families.

Every person in the photograph needs a release

The entry package contains a completed form, one photograph and one Farm 250 Photo Release Acknowledgement for each person shown. If two people are identifiable in the photo, two signed releases are required.

A visually strong image can still be rejected if the paperwork is incomplete. Entrants should collect permissions before uploading rather than trying to locate subjects close to the deadline.

Judges create a shortlist before the public vote

A sponsor-selected judging panel applies the criteria described on the nomination form and chooses ten photographs. Those finalists move to an online public vote at FB.org/Farm250 during September.

The entry with the most public votes wins. Because both judging and voting are involved, the sponsor describes the promotion as skill-based and says chance plays no part in determining the winner.

The travel prize does not cover every expense

The winner receives an iPhone 17 and a trip to the 2027 American Farm Bureau Annual Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. The sponsor provides travel to Charlotte, hotel lodging and convention registration.

The winner remains responsible for transport between home and the departure airport or terminal, baggage charges, ground transportation, incidental hotel expenses and other costs not expressly included.
