What qualifies as a Makers and Fixers entry
An entry combines a written personal story with an image showing how the entrant — or a person they nominate — has made, repaired, improved or aspired to build something meaningful in life or work. The submission is completed through Snap-on’s designated Makers and Fixers website.
The text and image must be original work created by the entrant. When the story is about a nominee, that person must consent to being submitted. Content that infringes another person’s rights, misrepresents authorship or disparages the sponsor can be rejected.
Who may enter
The giveaway is open to people who have reached the age of majority in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Canadian provinces other than Quebec. Eligibility must continue through the time a prize is awarded.
Snap-on employees and people connected to the administration of the promotion, along with specified immediate family and household members, are excluded. The rules also void participation anywhere local law does not permit the offer.
Monthly cutoffs and how the drawings work
Snap-on lists twelve entry cutoffs in 2026, from January 31 through December 31. Each associated drawing occurs around noon Central Time on the first day of the following month, with two potential winners selected from eligible entries.
A participant submits only once rather than uploading a new story every month. The official schedule includes June 30, July 31, August 31 and each subsequent month-end, so an entry received before a cutoff can be considered according to the sponsor’s published drawing process.
Prize value and winner verification
Each drawing awards two sponsor-designated prizes with a value of up to US$600 per prize. The exact item is chosen by Snap-on and is mailed to the validated winner’s address; cash substitution is not available unless the sponsor decides to replace an unavailable award.
Potential winners receive notice at the email used for entry. They may need to provide a legal name and mailing address and return eligibility, liability and publicity documents within seven days. Canadian potential winners must also answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.
Checklist before uploading a story
Use an email address that will remain active, prepare a clear image you own and make sure every person shown has authorised the submission. A nomination should explain the nominee’s maker or fixer impact rather than relying on generic praise.
Because the promotion permits one entry only, review names, contact information and file uploads before submitting. A duplicate entry does not create another chance and can complicate verification if the sponsor cannot identify which record is valid.
Official rules and source
Read the official source before entering, especially near the deadline or if the sponsor publishes an amendment.
