Five bi-weekly cash drawings

Step Double Your Paycheck 2026: ten cash prizes up to $1,500

Step selects two winners in each of five bi-weekly periods. Each prize matches the winner’s latest qualifying direct deposit for that period, capped at $1,500.

A $250 qualifying direct deposit creates an automatic entry, but the rules also provide an equal-chance free online form. Entries must be made again for each period.

Five separate entry periods

  • Period 1: June 1–15.
  • Period 2: June 16–30.
  • Period 3: July 1–15.
  • Period 4: July 16–31.
  • Period 5: August 1–15.

Two winners are chosen for each period. A person can win only once across the entire promotion, and entries are not credited retroactively before or after the applicable period.

Automatic entry through a qualifying deposit

An active Step account holder receives one automatic entry when at least $250 in qualifying direct deposit funds reaches the account during the current period. Eligible sources include payroll and government benefits; the rules exclude deposits from Wise.

A participant receiving a first-ever qualifying direct deposit gets one bonus entry. Existing direct-deposit users can earn up to five referral bonus entries per period when referred friends complete their own qualifying deposits.

The free online form has equal odds

No purchase or payment is required. The alternative method uses an online form requesting name, address, telephone and email. Complete entries from this route have the same chance as direct-deposit entries.

The form must be submitted for the applicable period before 11:59 p.m. ET on its end date. A free-form entry does not require the $250 deposit.

How the prize amount is calculated

Each winner receives cash equal to the most recent qualifying direct deposit received during the winning period, up to $1,500. The payment is deposited to the verified Step account within two business days.

The official rules do not say that every winner automatically receives $1,500. A smaller qualifying deposit produces a correspondingly smaller match.

Age, account and notification requirements

Entrants must be at least 14. Participants aged 14–17 need prior parental consent, and a parent or guardian must sign any required release before a prize is awarded.

The Step account must remain open and in good standing. Winners are contacted through the app or by email and have 48 hours to respond before an alternate may be selected.

Official Step sweepstakes rules

The Step page contains the complete period chart, direct-deposit definition, free form and prize schedule. Verify which period is open before acting, because each has its own deadline and drawing date.
