Entry checklist
- Be a U.S. or D.C. parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older with a child aged 6–18.
- For the online method, maintain an eligible Creative Kit subscription in good standing and upload a compliant child-created mini-movie.
- For the free method, mail the required handwritten entry for the relevant monthly period and observe its receipt deadline.
How to enter
- Choose the current monthly entry period and confirm its applicable entry limit.
- Use the matching Creative Kit upload box for a video of no more than 60 seconds, or prepare the free postal entry exactly as stated.
- Monitor phone and email after the monthly drawing and be prepared to return claim and background-check documents within three business days.
A different drawing is created every month
The sweepstakes has twelve independent entry periods from November 2025 through October 2026. One Platinum Ticket is available in each period, and a non-winning entry from one month is not moved into the next.
The entry cap changes with the month number. During June an entrant may submit up to eight entries per eligible child; July permits nine, and the limit continues to rise through October.
The Creative Kit video must match its upload box
The purchase route requires a parent or guardian to use an active Creative Kit account, create a child profile and upload a mini-movie of no more than 60 seconds made with the corresponding kit.
Uploading to the wrong kit box, omitting acceptance of the rules or submitting content that does not meet the guidelines can prevent the video from becoming an eligible entry. Artistic quality is not used to select the random winner.
A postal route avoids the subscription requirement
The official rules provide a no-purchase mail method for each entry period. Because the pools are monthly, the envelope and card must satisfy the timing and wording assigned to that specific month.
Mailing early matters: proof of sending is not proof of receipt, and late mail cannot be shifted into a later drawing. The same monthly entry limit applies across online and postal methods.
The trip has scheduling and verification conditions
Each winner and three guests receive coach flights to the Bay Area, one hotel room for two nights and specified ground transport for the CrunchLabs visit. Sponsor-selected dates depend on Mark Rober’s schedule.
Potential winners may face background checks and must return affidavits, releases, an NDA and other documents within three business days. Travel must be completed within one year of confirmation and no later than October 31, 2027.
Important limits and checks
- There are 12 separate monthly drawings and non-winning entries do not carry forward.
- The online entry limit rises by month; June permits up to eight entries per eligible child and July up to nine.
- An online potential winner must still have an active subscription in good standing at drawing, notification and fulfilment.
