Ten members will receive a matching Youth Savings deposit of up to $500 after making at least $100 in eligible deposits by July 31.
The award mirrors eligible deposits. Depositing $100 meets the entry threshold, while reaching the $500 prize cap requires at least $500 deposited during the promotion.
There is no separate sweepstakes form. A member who holds an eligible Youth Savings account and deposits at least $100 during the stated period receives one automatic entry.
The rules allow one entry per person, so splitting the deposit into several transactions does not create extra chances. The account must exist by July 31 and the member must remain in good standing.
Each winner receives the amount deposited into the Youth Savings account during the promotion, capped at $500. For example, $250 in eligible deposits would produce a $250 award; deposits of $500 or more reach the maximum.
The prize itself is placed into the same Youth Savings account. It is non-transferable and the rules do not offer a cash payment to a different account or person.
The official eligibility language requires the entrant to be a US resident aged 18 or older and a Golden 1 member in good standing with a Youth Savings account. Families should verify which adult member is shown as the eligible account holder before assuming a deposit qualifies.
Golden 1 may request identity, birth date and member details when confirming a winner. Information on the membership profile should match the person who receives the automatic entry.
Ten winners are expected to be drawn around August 15 and contacted by phone or email by August 31. Potential winners may need to return an affidavit and release within seven days.
After verification, the matching deposit is expected within approximately four weeks. Missing the document deadline can cause the prize to pass to another eligible member.
