Australian Mastercard travel-booking promotion with one luxury prize

CommBank Travel Booking 2026: Venice Film Festival trip

The winner and one guest receive flights, seven hotel nights, festival events and selected dining in Venice, with a published value of up to AUD $60,000.

CommBank is linking Travel Booking spend to a fixed-date luxury trip for two during the Venice International Film Festival. The entry calculation is progressive, but only within each qualifying transaction: every complete AUD $100 earns one entry.

Confirm the card and travel dates

  • Confirm that the Mastercard and customer account are eligible.
  • Check that September 8–15 is workable for both travellers.
  • Retain receipts that identify the Travel Booking goods or services and transaction date.

The spend threshold applies transaction by transaction

A qualifying booking must be at least AUD $100. A transaction of AUD $250 produces two entries, but two separate AUD $50 purchases do not combine into one entry.

There is no published overall entry cap, so larger eligible bookings can create multiple entries in AUD $100 increments. The exact transaction receipt remains important if the bank asks for proof.

The itinerary is built around fixed festival dates

The package includes return economy flights for two from the winner’s nearest Australian capital-city airport, airport transfers and seven nights at the five-star Ca’ di Dio hotel with daily breakfast.

Published inclusions also cover a gala dinner, hair and makeup, red-carpet and world-premiere access, a dinner at Quadri and a Mastercard cocktail event. Changes to the fixed travel window may not be available.

Check the expenses that stay with the winner

Travel insurance is not included and should be arranged separately. The winner and guest also remain responsible for passports, visas, vaccinations, taxes, gratuities and expenses not explicitly listed.

The two travellers must follow the same itinerary and share the hotel room. A person who cannot travel during September 8–15 should not assume the prize can be deferred or converted to cash.

Register, book and retain proof

  1. Sign in to Travel Booking and use the promotion form to register your details.
  2. Pay for an eligible booking with the registered CommBank Mastercard between June 1 and July 12.
  3. Keep itemised booking receipts; every complete AUD $100 within a qualifying transaction creates one entry.
