Transaction-based Australian banking competition

Ubank Boosts Competition 2026: three $100,000 prizes and monthly cash draws

The eight draw periods distribute 103 prizes worth AUD $400,000, including $100,000 prizes in April, July and September and groups of twenty $1,000 prizes in other months.

Ubank Boosts rewards repeated everyday-account activity rather than a separate entry form. Customers who meet the monthly transaction threshold can progress from one entry to five and then ten entries in later consecutive draws.

Twenty transactions create the base entry

Each draw period requires twenty eligible transactions from a Ubank account, with each transaction worth at least AUD $5. Approved methods include settled card transactions, PayTo, direct debit and BPAY.

The threshold is measured separately in every draw period. Transactions cannot be carried forward simply because a customer completed more than twenty in the previous month.

Consecutive qualification increases the entry count

Meeting the threshold initially produces one entry. A qualifying follow-up period can increase the allocation to five entries, and continued qualification after that can produce ten entries.

Ten is the maximum per person per draw. If the threshold is missed, the next qualifying period follows the reset and recovery rules published in the official table.

The $400,000 pool alternates large and multi-winner draws

February, March, May, June and August each offer twenty prizes of AUD $1,000. April, July and September each offer one AUD $100,000 prize.

That produces 103 prizes across eight draw periods. Winners are chosen through random electronic draws on dates published for each month.

Several everyday account movements are excluded

Pending card transactions, fees, cash withdrawals, gift-card purchases, gambling transactions, transfers between Ubank accounts and transfers made through Pay Someone do not qualify.

The winner must also have an individual Spend or Bills account that is open and able to receive the deposit, with the customer profile and other Ubank accounts not restricted, overdrawn or in arrears.

Count only eligible transactions

  • Confirm that the account and residence meet the eligibility rules.
  • Count only transactions worth at least AUD $5 that appear in an approved category.
  • Complete the threshold before 11:29 p.m. Sydney time on the final day of the draw period.

Build entries across monthly periods

  1. Use the Spend or Bills account for twenty eligible card, PayTo, direct-debit or BPAY transactions of at least AUD $5.
  2. Allow card purchases to settle before the monthly cutoff; pending transactions do not count.
  3. Repeat the twenty-transaction threshold in consecutive draw periods to build from one to five and then ten entries.
  4. Keep the individual Spend or Bills account open and unrestricted until any prize is paid.

Account status and excluded payments

  • Cash withdrawals, fees, gift-card purchases, gambling transactions and transfers between accounts do not count.
  • The maximum is ten entries per person per draw, earned through the published consecutive-period progression.
  • South Australian residents are excluded even if they otherwise hold an eligible Ubank account.
