Eligibility depends on automotive employment at both entry and award. Residents of Florida, New York and Rhode Island cannot participate.
The sweepstakes is limited to people employed at an automotive dealership, independent repair facility or fleet maintenance operation. That employment must exist when the entry is submitted and again when a prize is awarded.
Legal residents of the 50 states and D.C. may enter except those living in Florida, New York or Rhode Island. The minimum age is 18, and BG can request proof of both residence and qualifying employment.
A limited-edition promotional can of BG 44K contains a unique single-use code. The entrant registers that code with personal and workplace information on the official page. Reused, altered, guessed or automated codes are void.
No purchase is required because the rules provide a handwritten mail method. Each entry must be in its own stamped envelope, postmarked by August 24 and received by August 28. Printed or photocopied forms are not accepted.
Drawings occur through June, July and August. Non-winning entries stay in the pool for later secondary-prize dates, so a valid early entry can remain useful without being resubmitted.
Secondary winners cannot win another secondary item, but they remain eligible for the August 31 grand-prize drawing. There is no stated numerical cap as long as each online code is unique or each mail entry is individually prepared.
The grand-prize winner chooses a trip for two to Washington, D.C., Alaska or Hawaii. BG determines airfare, hotel and per diem, and the trip must be booked through the sponsor and used within twelve months, subject to availability and blackout dates.
Secondary prizes include 29 BG-branded Leatherman tools, five Yeti Tundra coolers, five firepits and five $500 BG merchandise gift cards. The combined maximum value of all prizes is $20,590.
Potential winners must respond within five business days and complete the requested eligibility and tax documentation. Missing the deadline can forfeit the selection and trigger an alternate.
Taxes are the winner’s responsibility. Prizes are generally non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, although the sponsor retains limited substitution discretion described in the rules.
